Chronicles from my 37th sleepless hour.

Look, I didn't mean for this to happen. I mean, it does, on occasion, and normally it's not a big deal... I can usually pull an all-nighter and no one so much as raises an eyebrow. But apparently this is not such a good idea when one is on the medication I'm currently on. Apparently when one goes without sleep one stumbles about when trying to walk and very easily loses one's train of thought. Not that I would know from experience or anything.

Anyway, I'm feeling pretty good and looking forward to going to sleep tonight. In the meantime, though, I have somehow convinced myself that I have knitting superpowers and started laying the ground for a very ambitious project. A VERY ambitious project. I mean, there was already the ambitious stuff I'd had planned for my Christmas knitting (lace scarf! argyle socks! fingerless gloves! scarves with cables!) but this... this leaves it all in the dust. It will be a Christmas present for Anna. Because I don't want to spoil it for her (she does read this, at least occasionally) let's just say it involves some very ambitious independent color charting and a bag. Beyond that, my lips are sealed. Unless you aren't Anna, in which case I may be tempted to tell you, but since you aren't Anna, it won't seem all that cool.

I should look into this "sleep" thing I keep hearing people go on about.

I want homemade awesomeness from you... I'm excited to see what it is however; 'cept I'll be jealous...

As a matter of fact, I'm cooking up some ambitious awesomeness of my own, and I'm not telling you, either! :P btw, what size needles did you use on those socks?
